New indoor pool!!

Really!! Well...
Last Tuesday a big storm came through bringing strong winds, lightning, and rain. The power flickered, and the kids were doing surprisingly well considering Snoopy was adding to the noise by howling in the garage.

All of a sudden, I get a phone call...from Melissa.

"Um, Jocelyn, you might want to get your pool out of your neighbor's yard before it completely blows away."

So, I did. I couldn't lose the thing, we had just gotten it the day before. It would have been a terrible waste of $13.
I brought it inside and a good time was had by all!

Notice Abby in the background. I think she was waiting for the pool boy to bring her a drink.

Andy watching the weather, or maybe Sprout.

Abby- "Yes, something with a little umbrella please."
Isaac- "Oh my goodness."

Fall Creek Falls

The Delks- all branches, went to Fall Creek Falls to enjoy a picnic with Whitwell Church of Christ (Joe's home church) and celebrate Grammy's birthday. My branch of the Delks arrived late, thus giving us more nap time, and less time with cranky babies in the heat.

Here is Abby eating her "hot dog" in typical Isaac fashion- no meat.

Here is Andy staying hydrated, with his fabulous new "do" done by Aunt Beth.

We did have a fun time seeing everyone, and Abby learned that coolers, especially ones that have ice and drinks in them, can make good toys in a pinch.

Later, we went indoors to the Inn, where we celebrated Grammy's birthday by having dinner. We changed all the kids' putfits, since their others were all wet. Unfortunately, I did not bring my camera inside, and I don't think Joe took any pics of us inside. Aunt Beth did get this pic of Andy looking stylish.

Fun with Aunt Beth

Because summer just wouldn't be the same without a visit from Aunt Beth, or Uncle Beth as Isaac likes to call her, we celebrated her arrival in style by going to.... McDonalds!!! And the Heavens rejoiced!! Aunt Kitty (Melissa) came was well to help with crowd control. We made sure they ate first, then they got to play!!

Andy made sure to clean his plate... and Isaac's and Abby's. He really does take after his Papa Joe after all!!

Isaac was nice enough to show Andy how to make the game make noises.

Help!! They have me trapped!!

Look where I am!!!

Abigail "Jones" facing the Playground of Doom!!

Just sitting here, waiting for Isaac to come down

Isaac actually played on the playland today. This was his first time being brave enought to go through all the tunnels. The first time, he followed another kid and went down the small slide. (the green one) But this time, he went in alone and... got a little lost. Aunt Kitty was about to go in after him, but he managed to find his way to the twisty slide, and came down unharmed. He wanted to go again, but we needed to go have diaper change and nap time.
